National Novel Writing Months starts today and ends November 30th at 11:59 pm. According to its history, NaNoWriMo began late in the 1990’s and has been going strong ever since. The goal is to write 50K words of a novel, short stories, poems, anything you want to write about. “Valuing enthusiasm, determination, and a deadline, NaNoWriMo is for anyone who has ever thought about writing a novel.” https://nanowrimo.org Go look it up.
I’m starting something new, as well as writing blog posts (I think that counts too) and working on edits for LEGACY OF DANGER. Sorry, tried to get that done for Halloween, but no go—
Here’s more about NaNoWriMo
“an opportunity to surprise myself with what I can create.”
— Joshua WM Berkowitz, Wrimo
That quote came from an email I received from the Na No Wri Mo team. I thought it quite appropriate.
Become a writer.
NaNoWriMo Is…

*Cue trumpets*
NaNoWriMo is here! Maybe you’ve been writing for hours and your fingers hurt. Maybe you’re worried because you still aren’t sure what to write. Either way, announce your novel on the site!
Sometimes the simple act of clicking a button, creating a title, and selecting a genre sparks an idea, and before you know it, you’ve got a word count! Ta da!
*Exit trumpets*

Me too. I have a lot to do. Have to finish editing Legacy, write a new novel and work on interesting blog posts. How much time is there in a day?
